Terms and Conditions
Article 1 – Scope of the general conditions These general conditions govern by right all sales of stays made for Les Nids des Marais. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the domain and its customers. Each client acknowledges having read the present general conditions before booking a stay, for himself and any person participating in the stay. In accordance with the law in force, the present general conditions are made available to all clients for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of holidays. They may also be obtained by written request to the establishment’s head office.
Article 2 – Booking conditions
2.1 Price and payment: The price of the stays is indicated in euros, including VAT. The number of persons must not, under any circumstances, exceed the planned capacity, otherwise the operator reserves the right to terminate the present contract or to modify the rental price.
Reservations are nominative and cannot be transferred. The rental becomes effective only with our agreement and after receipt of the total amount of the stay and the reservation fee.
In all cases, the balance due must be in the possession of the Nids des marais, at the latest, 30 days before the start of the stay. If a contract is concluded within 30 days before the start of the stay, the total amount must be paid immediately. In the event of a delay that has not been reported, the accommodation/pitch will become available 24 hours after the arrival date stated in the booking contract. After this time, and in the absence of a written message, the reservation will be null and void and you will be invoiced for the full amount of the services reserved.
2.2 Change of booking: No discount will be made for late arrival or early departure.
2.3 Cancellation: Any booking not cleared in accordance with the terms and conditions will be cancelled. Whatever the reason for your cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.
- If you cancel 10 days before the date of stay: no fee will be charged.
- Between 9 and 5 days before the date of stay: 40€ administrative fee will be charged to the customer.
- In case of cancellation less than 5 days before the date of stay or no show, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
In the event of exceptional weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time. We will then offer you a full refund or a date change.
<2.4 Withdrawal: The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling as set out in the Consumer Code are not applicable to tourist services. Thus, for any order of a stay with Les Nids des Marais, the customer does not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
2.5 Cancellation insurance We advise you to subscribe to a cancellation insurance. This contract offers you a cancellation guarantee which allows you to obtain a refund of the sums paid in the event of cancellation of your stay or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident…).
Article 3 – Course of the stay
3.1 Arrivals and Departures We welcome you between 5pm and 7:30pm and can enjoy until 10:30am
3.2 Departure Any release of the pitch after 10.30 am will result in a Late-check-out charge (40€) after 12.30 pm, an additional night. Any extension of the stay must be made at least 24 hours before the planned departure date.
3.3 Internal regulations As required by law, you must adhere to our internal regulations.
Article 4 – Liability
Les Nids des Marais declines all responsibility for any damage to the clients’ equipment that would be of their own making; insurance for your equipment in terms of civil liability is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC…).
Article 5 – Applicable law
The present general conditions are subject to Belgian law and any dispute relating to their application falls within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Grande Instance or the Tribunal de Commerce of Namur.
